Donate Life Transplant Games

The Donate Life Transplant Games is a multi-sport festival for individuals who have undergone life-saving transplant surgeries. Competition events are open to living donors, organ transplant recipients, and bone marrow, corneal and tissue transplant recipients.

More than 12,000 people are expected to attend the six-day festival, July 17-22, 2020, recognizing the success of donation and transplantation and honoring the generosity of donors and their families.

Team Liberty, a program of NJ Sharing Network, comes together at the Donate Life Transplant Games, and all year round, to promote the success of organ transplantation, to raise awareness for the urgent need of organ and tissue donation and to honor donors and their families who have so generously given the gift of life. Team Liberty represents the NJ-NY-CT tri-state area.  Learn more about Team Liberty

Elisse Glennon, VP and Chief Administrative Officer at NJ Sharing Network, and Bill Ryan, President and CEO of Transplant Games of America, spoke with Steve Adubato about the 2020 Donate Life Transplant Games coming to New Jersey.

The MEADOWLANDS 2020 LOGO features a golden flame in the shape of New Jersey, symbolic of the Statue of Liberty’s torch. Beneath the flame, four wavy lines represent the Hudson River (blue) and the meadows (shades of green and grey). In the Transplant Games of America logo, the red, white and blue stars symbolize the Donor, the Recipient, and the Families of both. The stars appear to radiate waves of light, just as the light of a donor continues to shine through those who receive the gift of life. Explore the Meadowlands
