Honoring Donors in Your Hospital

There are many ways hospitals can partner with NJ Sharing Network to honor organ and tissue donors. These tributes and special ceremonies mean a great deal to donor families and also raise awareness in the community about the life-saving decision to become a registered organ and tissue donor.

Here are some great ways to honor your hospital’s organ and tissue donors:

Alex Velilla is a hero for the lives he saved as an organ donor. His family and friends gathered at Jersey City Medical Center to honor him in a beautiful flag raising ceremony.
