Family Services
Welcome to Family Services
NJ Sharing Network honors every family who makes the courageous decision to donate at the time of their loved one's passing. In their time of sorrow, these families gave the gift of life to others in need. While we cannot take away the pain of their loss, we hope to provide services that will promote healing during the difficult journey that lies ahead.
We offer on-going support, beginning at the hospital and continuing with grief resources, workshops and events to celebrate the lives of our donors. Our Family Services team members have diverse backgrounds and experiences including: chaplaincy, social work, bereavement counseling and grief recovery support. We can provide assistance in finding grief resources within your community, answer questions about donation, provide updates on recipients, assist with donor family/recipient correspondence, and provide information on how to get involved with our organization.
Questions? Contact Family Services at (908) 516-5625 or familyservices@njsharingnetwork.org.
Many friends, family and community members find it healing to honor and remember their loved ones through programs, events and volunteerism. While anyone is permitted to participate with NJ Sharing Network programs, organ and tissue donor and recipient medical information is confidential, and can only be shared/released to appropriate parties, pursuant to state and federal regulations.
