The 2020 5K Celebration of Life will mark the 10th anniversary of this inspirational event! Since it's inception in 2011, the 5K has raised over $8 million to support our life-saving mission.

Whether you have participated since the beginning or joining us for the first time, it's never too early to get started on your 5K goals. This page is designed to provide you with resources and tips to make team recruitment, promotion and fundraising fun and easy. We appreciate all that you do!

Start Fundraising Early

Get a head start on your 5K goals with these fundraising tips. Contributions received after August 31, 2019 will be credited to the 2020 5K Celebration of Life campaign.

  • Host a Fundraising and Awareness Event. This is a great way to get your friends and family together before the 5K to have fun and raise money for your team all while advocating for organ and tissue donation.
  • Create a Facebook Fundraiser. Be sure to review our Facebook Fundraising Guidelines to ensure the proceeds will be transferred to your 5K team.
  • Start collecting contributions early and use this 5K Contribution Form to keep track of all your generous supporters. 

Share Your Story

Inspire others by sharing your connection to donation and transplantation with members of your community.

  • We love to hear more about our 5K teams! Use our Team Story Template to share more about your team. We display all our team stories at the 5K and in our headquarters year round.
  • By sharing your story, you can inpsire others and help save more lives! Check out these Tips to Share Your 5K Story .
  • Share this 5K Promotional Video on your social media to get your friends and family excited about next year's event. Be sure to also check out all the other awesome videos on our YouTube channel! 

Get More Involved with NJ Sharing Network

Participate in programs throughout the year and encourage your family and friends to join you to spread awareness about organ and tissue donation even further!

  • The Transplant Games of America are coming to New Jersey in July 2020! Join our local host team, Team Liberty and learn more about how you can get involved with this inspiring event.
  • Attend a monthly Advocacy Night. Held on a regular basis at our headquarters in New Providence, these events are a chance to meet fellow members of the donation and tranpslantation community, recieve a tour of our state-of-the-art facility and become a Certified Volunteer.
  • Join a Donate Life Regional Group. These taskforces are created throughout the state to gather local representatives to take action and educate their communities with the enthusiasm to save lives through grassroots efforts.
